Student Summary:
When the internet began to gain speed and accessibility, digital
technology began to deepen its print on modern culture and society.
But technology has found its most eager participants in the teenage
demographic—also known as the iGeneration. The detrimental
consequences of this culture are readily apparent. However, if
carefully cultivated, these digital natives possess skills,
language, knowledge and learning capabilities that are unnatural to
adults twice their age. This cultivation requires a self-control
and discipline that does not come naturally to this age group. But
a Christian school can provide students with healthy ideas,
creative exercises and foundational principals that will exemplify
godly stewardship of a popular medium, thus preparing Christian
leaders for the modern world.
