CCA alumna is interviewed about transition to college life

CCA alumna Lindsay Koach ‘11 and her mom Peggy,  recently sat down to discuss the transition that a family experiences as a student leaves home for college.  Click on this link to read the interview:  At the Crossroads: Starting the First Year of Messiah College

CCA gets a couple of mentions in this interview but this one is my favorite:

LK: Final question, Mom.  What is one lesson you’d like me to know before I go?
PK: It would be the same one I wrote down a post-it note for your first day of fifth grade at CCA.  Then, like now, Lindsay, you were a little nervous about a new school experience.  On that note, I copied Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Life is always going to have crossroads, joys, uncertainties and changes, but if you know Jesus Christ and lean on him, you will be able to walk through anything and accomplish His will for your life.  So, if I could jot it down today for you again today …
LK: You don’t have to do that, Mom.  I still have the original.
