    It is most interesting as Adler was influenced by Dewey (specifically the push for the democratization of education) but parted company with Dewey on numerous issues including the teaching of ethics. In other words, Adler wrote about, taught seminars on, and advocated for ethical instruction in schools.

    It is certainly in my top five favorites. It would be most helpful reading in schools that think through these ideas with their students.

    You are most welcome. The Gateway syntopicon is connected with the GBWW syntopicon. One other tool I have found useful is the Inventory of Terms where more than 4,000 terms are connected to the 102 Great Ideas. This is where you would locate terms such as equality and equity and relate them to justice.
