Task: Final Project Option #1, Poet Focused Project

Poet focused project:

• Choose a poet that is featured in your class’ or school’s curriculum;
• Draw up a list of important details concerning the poet (biographical details, period influences, poetic style etc.);
• Select two poems by the poet that you will memorize;
• Write a detailed analysis of the poems you memorized;
• Composition of your own in the style of the poet.
