Launching Your Classical Classroom

This ten-session course is designed to equip new classical educators with the tools, vision, and practical systems they need to launch a thriving and sustainable classroom. Drawing from years of experience and grounded in the principles of classical Christian education, Kim Warman offers mentorship in the essentials of classroom design, student formation, curriculum planning, and parent partnership. Through reflective storytelling and hands-on strategies, this course helps teachers begin their first year with clarity, confidence, and an orientation toward scholé—restful teaching rooted in purpose and peace. Each session builds on the last, guiding teachers through the foundational steps of shaping habits, responding to challenges, and cultivating a love for learning that endures well beyond the first year.

Kim Warman was trained as a classical educator at Hillsdale College and attended classical Christian schools herself before that. She is the Dean of Lower School at Coram Deo Academy (Carmel, Indiana) where she has also taught 4th grade and serves as the librarian.
