  • Create a Map of your classroom
    • Determine where the kids are sitting, possibly using a seating chart
    • Determine where key materials are in the room.
    • Determine a map of the aesthetics
      • Where do you want the student’s eyes to be drawn to for most of the day?
      • Where are corners for exploration?
      • Where is the key focus for your lesson?
    • Think about how you will circulate the room, engaging students or intervening when needed. How can you make one circulation of the room, trying to be in arms reach of students with in the 45 second turn around the room?
