Assignments and Action Steps
Think of a major event or profound experience in your life like the apostle Paul’s conversion or a viewing of the Isenheim Altarpiece. Think of the ways that you have told the story in the past and make a point to tell or write down the story after some serious reflection. Keep a “pedagogical diary” and record your thoughts on the process and how you have deepened your understanding as you have different perspectives. Then, share the results with your colleagues, academic team, or another homeschooling parent. Consider having your academic team do this together and then share the results and discuss at a team meeting. If you are a homeschool parent, consider sharing with your spouse or a homeschooling friend with similar philosophy of education.
